Final Blog Post.

I have really enjoyed this class. It not only helped further my knowledge with a camera but also about what makes a good photographer better. From editing to set up and everything in between. The share 2s helped because it was a good way to see what everyone was shooting at that time and also receive feedback on photos.

I think that if you could change one thing about the class would be to go outside the classroom more and help students with different techniques. But other than that it was a pretty good setup.

This class has really inspired me to get into photography way more than I ever have, I want to continue to take photos get better at editing and hopefully one day it becomes a little easier.

This photo was taken on a beautiful October dat while fly fishing on the Madison river south of Ennis Montana. This bull had no care in the world that I was about 80 yards from him. He actually put on a little show. Racking and thrashing the brush. I have never been this close to a moose besides being in YNP. And this is by the far the biggest bull moose I have ever seen. His beautiful black coat and near white legs made for some beautiful shots. I used this photo for my student art show submission.

It was early spring of 2016 and my hunting buddies and I were headed on our annual trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness with packs full of gear and high hopes of finding a few bears. As we trekked through the previous winters snow we crossed paths with old wolf, grizzly and some deer and elk sign. The first few days we didn't turn up any bears so we packed up camp and headed to a new location. About a mile from where we were camped we ran into this beautiful chocolate sow. She didn't really know what to think but never posed as a threat to me or my buddies. We stood around for a few minutes but I was able to snap this quick picture of her before we kept on.

DJI's new Drones

The Future of Arial Photography Photography and videography has changed substantially in the last 5 years, in today's world there is new technology coming out monthly it seems like. And one company that really stands out in the video/photography world is DJi. They have made huge advancements on their drones over the last couple of years and continue to improve. Today August 23, they released the new Mavic 2 drones. The Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 zoom. These two new drones have increased video capability and camera options. A longer flight time and distance along with higher speeds. They also amped up there collision avoidance from only having front back and bottom to now having 10 sensors for all around collision avoidance. But enough with the specs, DJi has allowed photographers and videographers to do things that were never capable before. Now arial shots can be done almost effortlessly and it comes in a pretty small package but at a fairly costly price tag. I use the
