Editing on my mac and replacing the hard drive and ram

Image
So I currently have a mid 2012 mac book pro and it was being so so slow that I was on the verge of buying a new one but I decided to put more ram and a new solid state hard drive into it. And let me tell you you, it made a world of difference.I had been struggling to open up light room and adobe premier to do some editing and it was almost impossible because my computer was moving like a slug. This little 250 dollars that I put into it saved me a heck of a lot of money!!! If you're thinking about buying a new mac try this first.

Final Blog Post.

I have really enjoyed this class. It not only helped further my knowledge with a camera but also about what makes a good photographer better. From editing to set up and everything in between. The share 2s helped because it was a good way to see what everyone was shooting at that time and also receive feedback on photos. I think that if you could change one thing about the class would be to go outside the classroom more and help students with different techniques. But other than that it was a pretty good setup. This class has really inspired me to get into photography way more than I ever have, I want to continue to take photos get better at editing and hopefully one day it becomes a little easier. 2018 Digital Nature Photography.

ISO 400 200mm f/16 1/40 sec I wanted to capture a goose this semester and capture a shot with reflection. I used these settings because it was good light and I wanted to get the most out of the photo. (lower ISO) ISO 500 55mm f/18 1/50 sec This photo was captured during the first storm of the year and I really enjoyed the color contrast between the red barn and white dusting of snow. ISO 125 10mm f/3.5 1/1000 sec  I used these settings because it was very bright out and I wanted to get a blurred background. And it was slightly windy hence the higher shutter speed. ISO 100 24mm f/4.5 1/640 sec  I just thought this tree was super cool. This tree had gone through a fire some years ago and I thought the view behind it along with the snow partially covering it was cool. ISO 800 166mm f/16 1/100 sec I really love waterfowl and thought this little group of mallards was super pretty on the water. Higher shutter speed because they were slowly swimming away and I had

Looking forward to winter

Photo by: Ted Wells In the winter I really enjoy waterfowl hunting. This creates some awesome photography opportunities. You are completely concealed in camouflage from head to toe and the birds are landing in your lap. As much as I like to pull the trigger and harvest these beautiful birds i've really began to enjoy pushing the shutter button more than pulling the trigger.

This photo was taken on a beautiful October dat while fly fishing on the Madison river south of Ennis Montana. This bull had no care in the world that I was about 80 yards from him. He actually put on a little show. Racking and thrashing the brush. I have never been this close to a moose besides being in YNP. And this is by the far the biggest bull moose I have ever seen. His beautiful black coat and near white legs made for some beautiful shots. I used this photo for my student art show submission.
