Next possible camera set up

I can only dream when I write this blog but hey, why not. If I could choose any camera on the market right now I think I would go with the Sony a7 III. I have only heard good things about it. I really think the capability of being able to video in 4k with the switch of a button would be huge. I also think the combination of the in body and lens stabilization would be an epic combo. I would probably buy a  Sony Fe16-35mm f/2.8 and a Sony Fe 24-105mm f/4 to begin. But all this wanting is gonna have to wait, but might as well dream!

Student art show submission.

This photo was taken on a beautiful October dat while fly fishing on the Madison river south of Ennis Montana. This bull had no care in the world that I was about 80 yards from him. He actually put on a little show. Racking and thrashing the brush. I have never been this close to a moose besides being in YNP. And this is by the far the biggest bull moose I have ever seen. His beautiful black coat and near white legs made for some beautiful shots. I used this photo for my student art show submission.

Editing on my mac and replacing the hard drive and ram

So I currently have a mid 2012 mac book pro and it was being so so slow that I was on the verge of buying a new one but I decided to put more ram and a new solid state hard drive into it. And let me tell you you, it made a world of difference.I had been struggling to open up light room and adobe premier to do some editing and it was almost impossible because my computer was moving like a slug. This little 250 dollars that I put into it saved me a heck of a lot of money!!! If you're thinking about buying a new mac try this first.

It was early spring of 2016 and my hunting buddies and I were headed on our annual trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness with packs full of gear and high hopes of finding a few bears. As we trekked through the previous winters snow we crossed paths with old wolf, grizzly and some deer and elk sign. The first few days we didn't turn up any bears so we packed up camp and headed to a new location. About a mile from where we were camped we ran into this beautiful chocolate sow. She didn't really know what to think but never posed as a threat to me or my buddies. We stood around for a few minutes but I was able to snap this quick picture of her before we kept on.
