Next possible camera set up

Image
I can only dream when I write this blog but hey, why not. If I could choose any camera on the market right now I think I would go with the Sony a7 III. I have only heard good things about it. I really think the capability of being able to video in 4k with the switch of a button would be huge. I also think the combination of the in body and lens stabilization would be an epic combo. I would probably buy a  Sony Fe16-35mm f/2.8 and a Sony Fe 24-105mm f/4 to begin. But all this wanting is gonna have to wait, but might as well dream!

Raw photo Unedited vs Edited

Image
Unedited  Edited  I love how when a photo is shot in raw you can do so much with it after it has been taken. The colors in the first photo are dull and don't pop. And when you have the capability of editing you can make it so much better. The clarity and color are two things I focused on in this edit.

Aperture Priority

Image
I have been struggling lately with full in manual mode so I decided to switch it up and use AP known as aperture priority. This mode helps with prioritizing the depth of field over the shutter speed. This mode gives you the advantage of shooting speed, control over technique and the best exposure all at the same time.  In Aperture priority, if you want the best exposure with the fastest shutter speed, you simply need to set your dial to the maximum aperture. You can do this even without looking at the settings. Remember bigger aperture means more light coming in. I have Tamron 10-24mm,  which is f/3.5 at the widest angle.  It may seem that having an f/3.5 aperture is limiting, but this limit is actually the biggest advantage of Aperture Priority.  I've really enjoyed messing around with Av mode and plan to keep on using it. I haven't given on up full blown manual but plan to shoot more in Av.
